So everyone who backed for a 'just-in-case' purple Dragon Bagon, once we hit the goal I'm going to message you individually, and ask you to switch to a pledge level with a manufactured option, which will cost you less. This will knock our total back a little bit, but it's not the end of the world :).
What that will also do is open up a little bit of time in the 'second wave' for me. So my question is, would you rather have a few more custom colour slots, OR more just-in-case Rainbow Dragon Bagons. Custom colour does not allow for rainbow (because Rainbow uses 6 colours instead of 3).
Which would you prefer?

Ok, so we're not too far off our first stretch goal - making a run of custom D6s
From feedback in the beta group, I'm thinking about something like this colour combo - what do you think?
I may not be able to get an exact match, but it gives an idea of what to expect
Most people who've responded thus far seem to want the custom logo on the '6' face. Interestingly, most manufacturers seem to have the customisable face on their dice molds as the '1'. This means I'll need to have a new mold made up, but that's been budgeted for.

The thing to remember here is that the designs will be on a face that's 16mm x 16mm, so some fine detail may not show up. That being said, either of these options could work, here's a tiny version to give an idea of the scale. I may need to make the lines heavier, or similar adjustments depending on how it comes out.

Pledge levels etc
There's a couple of ways we can sort this one.
I'll make a pledge level for a manufactured Dragon Bagon + the custom D6, and anyone who wants that can switch over.
I'll make a similar pledge level for those who want a manufactured Dragon Bagon, a Manufactured Bagthulhu AND a custom d6.
For those have pledged for a handmade reward, it would be easiest to just add the right amount (I'm still working that one out) to your pledge and then later on in backerkit, you can select it as an add on :).

To celebrate, I have a surprise for you lovely people.
This one needs a name, any ideas?
Tada! Rainbow Dragon Bagon! We're struggling to get the green to show up properly on screen, it's actually a much more intense shade.
I messed up when I made the prototype and used teal scales rather than black. I edited the photo to show what it would actually look like with black highlights.
Also, it looks like the purple, teal and black Dragon Bagon is in the lead for our second colour combo. What do you think?
I have a cunning plan...
I'm thinking of making a mini stretch goal of making a limited number of 'second wave' slots for both the purple and the rainbow Dragon Bagons available. They would be handmade. Basically, what this means is if we don't hit the stretch goals to make these colour combos happen in a bulk run, those who get in early will still be able to get one. And if we DO hit the stretch goals, backers for those slots can switch to the cheaper pledge level, and I'll turn those slots into regular 'second wave' custom colour slots.
What are your thoughts?

I'm thinking about making a castle out of the dice when there's enough...
See that giant jar? It weighs at least a kilo (that's like 2.2 pounds) on it's own. The other night I managed to drop it on my foot (while it was empty, thankfully). It hurt like hell at the time but I don't think it's broken. I can move it, and there's not even much obvious bruising, but if I bump the wrong spot now it hurts. I've been very careful with it ever since. I'm not 100% sure Charrlotte didn't strike a deal with it to keep me in line.
Since me being beaten up by inanimate objects seems to entertain people, I figured I'd include that.

Second wave and Limited edition Dragon Bagons
I'm thinking of adding a stretch goal that was suggested in the comments. Basically a second wave of custom colour rewards. They'd have a later delivery date, but it would give more custom options.
I've also made a very limited number of pumpkin spice dragons available
And a very limited number of Slack Wyrm inspired Dragon Bagons.
Slack Wyrm (or Ferragus to his dragon friends) is the star of Slack Wyrm comics. The creator, Josh Wright, was nice enough to let me make this little beastie as a tribute and make a small number available as limited edition rewards.
These two will be the first of the second wave :).

If you haven't already, check out Heriones in Sensible shoes. I've backed it and I can't wait to add some badass minis to Charrlotte's hoard. I'm trying to find an excuse to get the whole set...
